@Zpwiz The scores mean nothing when the fight is stopped. And it was a good stoppage. One of the referee's jobs is to protect the fighters. Not to let a fight go until one guy gets his brains bashed in that's MMA.

@butze_ He was knocked silly and knocked down into the ropes...he got up, was given time to put his mouthpiece back in and then got swarmed...Good stoppage, the referee did his job stopping the fight for a guy in his second professional bout against the best heavyweight in the world.

@Zpwiz The fact of the matter was, the cards were a majority draw when it was stopped. Best case scenario for Verhoeven was going to be a draw after a 10-8 11th. Assuming somehow he steals the 12th.
