The biggest lie loneliness tells you is, “I should spend some time alone trying to figure out why I’m so lonely.”
The only failproof, long-term cure for loneliness is community.
It’s not free.
Community costs vulnerability, bravery and time, but it’s always worth that price.
"When I’m down 17 at half, honestly, I’m just thinking, ‘All right God, You’ve taken me here, and win or lose I’m going to glorify You.’ That’s my peace, the joy, the steadfastness — that’s where I get it."

Don't want church to feel like a routine?
-Pray before you get there.
Ask God to speak to you.
-Listen to worship music on
the way.
-Take a Bible with you, instead
of relying on the screens.
-Don't run late.
-Sing loudly like you mean it.
-Take notes.
-Expect God to move.
102 million people have viewed the below post and the video of the @Harvard, @MIT, and @Penn presidents’ testimony to Congress.
How can they appear in public after such disgraceful testimony?
Has anyone seen them since Tuesday?
This ten-year-old Coke commercial (released only in Argentina), remains the single best minute-long argument for pro-natalism that I have ever seen.
@MoreBirths@BirthGauge
This is the best interview I have EVER seen.
Ever; ever; ever; nothing comes close.
Douglas Murrey has a heart – and mind – of gold.
And what unfolds in this seven-minute clip is something you need to watch for yourself. (Once you see it halfway through, you’ll know exactly what I’m referring to.)
But he articulates something which I have been trying to share for the past month:
The Nazis, as fundamentally evil as they were, believed that they were engaging in a necessary evil for an ultimate good; they still had a spark of humanity at their core; thus, their main flaw was that they believed the ends justified the means; even though they fully believed in the “result” of a world without Jews, they were still fundamentally opposed to the “actions” they were taking.
This is what motivated the Nazis to find ways of circumventing the existential moral decay they were entering, and allowed them to get creative by using the gas chambers, mass shootings (in the BACK of the head – to avoid direct facial contact), and other passive forms of mass annihilation, while also having as few Nazis as possible actually involved in these acts of murder; they then encouraged those individuals who were involved in this atrocity of mass murder to get drunk every night in order to wash away the person they started seeing in the mirror.
Thus, the existential decay of these individual Nazis actively involved in the mass murder of the Jewish People was simply seen as another layer of “the ends justify the means.”
They were the epitome of “Western” evil.
Hamas is the exact opposite.
This IS their value system.
They prize death, murder, rape, suicide missions, and everything that opposes the very foundation of values and truth to begin with.
The events of October 7th was not an end to a means… there is no future goal… this IS the goal.
They are the epitome of an evil the likes of which we have never before seen.
Please – I know this is social media and some people only watch 60-second soundbites; but please, please, please watch this brilliant interview.
Douglas Murray – you are a credit to everything worth being credited.
Typically, the drift away from Biblical orthodoxy has the same path:
->Question the inerrancy of Scripture.
->Challenge the authority of Scripture.
->Begin to backtrack on sexual sin.
->Ascribe to Universalism.
->Completely leave the faith.
Too many leaders & denominations have taken this exact path.
Don’t trust leaders that don’t trust the Bible, because they’re always heading somewhere.
Rep. Wesley Hunt:
"I can assure you that my four year old and my two year old daughters will not change in front of biological men. This is ridiculous."

In conclusion, stop watching porn.
Fathers,
Don't just take your kids to church.
Show them what it means to worship corporately. Clap and sing along with the songs. Bow your head or kneel in prayer. Listen attentively to the sermon. Repent of your sins.
And afterwards tell them the work God did for you this week. They need to know that church isn't an empty routine but a fountain of life.

The Aaronic or Priestly blessing is one of the most ancient benedictions in the world (Numbers 6:24-26). It has been spoken over the people of God for millennia. In many churches, including my own, these words conclude every Sunday service as our pastor speaks them over us.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
In Hebrew, the structure is both simple and strong.
1) The first line is 3 words, the second 5 words, the third 7 words.
2) The first line has 15 letters, the second 20 letters, the third 25 letters.
3) And, most obviously, the divine name Yahweh is repeated three times.
There are a total of six actions that God performs: he blesses and keeps; shines and is gracious; lifts up and gives peace. The “and” between each of these, however, could also be translated as resultative. That is, God blesses us so that we are kept safe; he shines his face on us so that we receive grace; he lifts up his countenance on us with the result that we receive shalom.
What is the summary result of this blessing? God tells us: “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them” (Num. 6:27). The threefold speaking of the divine name puts that name upon us. God’s name is his presence, his person, his grace and power and mercy. It is analogous to when we are baptized in the threefold name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
God’s words do things. Just as in creation, his “Let there be” brought forth all things, so his words still accomplish reality. When God blesses, you are blessed. End of discussion. The Lord isn’t waiting for you to do your part. There is no “part” for you to do. Some might say, “Well, but we have to believe it.” Yes, by faith we receive divine blessings, but faith is simply the empty hand into which the Lord puts his blessing.
We can no more claim faith as a “work we do” or a “part we play” any more than a child can boast about what a great job he did for his mom while being born. Faith is a gift, as is life itself.
The Lord bless you all in Jesus the Christ.
(The picture is of a tiny silver roll, possibly an amulet, dated to the sixth or seventh century BC. It was discovered in a burial chamber at Ketef Hinnom in Jerusalem in 1979. The text is the Priestly Blessing from Numbers 6. You will notice that the Hebrew on the right, the reconstruction, looks very different from the Hebrew on the roll itself. That's because the Hebrew script on the roll is the older form of Hebrew writing called paleo-Hebrew. The script that was gradually adopted around the 5th to 3rd c. BC, and still used today, is called "square script" or "Assyrian script").
Between 93–95% of all the time you’ll spend with your kids will happen before they turn 18.
The final 5–7% of in-person time will be stretched out over the next 50 years.
Parent with that reality in mind.
