@Predamame I did that same exact workout as one of my go-tos in college but with a 1500m focus (only difference was that the reps were faster: 41-42s). Felt like the 300s allowed me to float at faster paces without worrying about tying up the last straight. Loved it.

@Predamame This was my take, too. People who don’t know distance running are the ones who think community somehow makes it soft. It’s inherently competitive and direct (times don’t lie), which frees runners to build each other up. That creates a cycle where people perform better.
