REPORTER: “You said Russia and Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire, but both sides say they haven’t agreed to that”
TRUMP: “They agreed. You know why? Because I said, 'You agree' — that's why. They agreed because I said they agreed”
Another deadly strike hits Saudi Arabia's busiest airport, and now the U.S. could be drawn deeper into the conflict.
At least one person is dead and multiple people are injured after a new attack strikes Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport, just one day after a Houthi missile strike killed 13 people, including an American, and wounded more than 300.
The Iranian-backed rebels are now warning airlines and travelers to stay out of Saudi airports and airspace, with exceptions for Mecca and Medina.

BREAKING: 🇷🇺🇺🇸🇺🇦 Zelenskyy indicated that Ukraine would attack Russian ships carrying diesel to the US.
Zelenskyy indicated that Trump needs to strike a deal with him if he wants Ukraine to refrain from attacking the oil tankers transporting diesel to the US.
Hi @pule_jones . You are on top of your game. Keep up the good work of keeping the country updated on all the relevant fronts that you are covering. 👊🏽
BREAKING:
EXCLUSIVE LEAD:
Police have raided the property of a tobacco tycoon in Johannesburg.
He was a close associate to Mr Firoz Khan at some stage and his name featured at the Madlanga Commission.
The businessman also allegedly had links with taxi bosses previously.
It’s believed police executed a search and seizure warrant.

I don’t believe the volume of diesel Russia will export will affect the price. Moreover, we see that they can export from 300,000 to 500,000 tons a month today. Meanwhile, global consumption stands at 120 million tons a month. What kind of impact can that have? I don’t think it would have any. If some people think otherwise, so be it.
So I believe there are entirely different reasons behind these actions. If this is the approach, then why isn’t America making a “diesel deal” with Ukraine? Let Ukraine propose a “diesel deal.” We do have influence over whether these ships can sail or not, whether these refineries can operate or not. If that’s the case, then let’s do it.
Electricity is what matters to us. That’s clear. If we can be guaranteed protection for our power system, then we will not strike Russia’s diesel infrastructure in response. Electricity is first and foremost about helping people – keeping their lights on. It also means helping Europe. Everyone knows that we are connected to the European power grid. And if our energy infrastructure is not being destroyed, we can help some countries that are facing shortages by supplying them with cheaper electricity.
So, yes, let’s sign a corresponding “diesel deal” with the President of the United States.

🚨🇺🇦🇺🇸🇷🇺 Zelensky says he was COMPLETELY unaware of the energy ceasefire Trump just announced...
Zelensky:
“It was news for me.”
Trump declared earlier that both Russia and Ukraine had agreed to immediately stop attacking each other's energy infrastructure.
“If Trump negotiated it with Putin, please tell us when the ceasefire begins.
We are ready, and we will accept it.”
Zelensky made clear that Ukraine is willing to halt strikes on Russian energy facilities if Moscow does the same.
But Russia has yet to confirm the agreement.

Morris Montego Maluleka, the former municipal manager of Mogalakwena Local Municipality, has been arrested on charges of corruption, fraud, and money laundering. But why is he crying like this?
If you do not know where you are going, any road will take you there. That is South Africa today.
Voters gave us the GNU - a real chance to grow. Instead, ministers and parties are driving separate agendas. A wasted opportunity.
South Africa should become the African home for the world’s companies.
The place global firms put their African Headquarters, regional treasury, talent and growth capital - because it is easier and more predictable here than anywhere else on the continent.
That single destination gives every minister one test: does this make it easier or harder for a serious company to base itself here?
Permits in days. Licences in months. Ports and rail that move. Energy that stays on. Visas on time. Courts that settle while the opportunity still exists.
We have the assets. We lack the discipline to make them usable. Countries that win headquarters remove friction faster than everyone else.
The GNU can still do this. But only if the parties stop driving their own agendas and start driving toward one place. #ProudlySA
It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.
"I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president."
US President Donald Trump hits out at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, criticising him for targeting Russian refineries and saying he should be replaced.
