Another strike on a Russian oil refinery in Omsk – one of the major refineries – as well as on the Ukhta oil refinery, 1,900 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border. The target in Ukhta was hit by An-196 RS drones, which can fly about 2,500 kilometers, while FP-6 drones (modified FP-1s) were used against the Omsk refinery the day before. We continue to respond to Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, and we’re doing so with high precision. Another data center was hit as well – our symmetrical response. An important display of accuracy by our warriors. Glory to Ukraine!

These days remain a time of remembrance of the horrific tragedy of Babyn Yar for many people around the world. Today, government delegations from Israel and Germany came to Kyiv to honor the memory of nearly 100,000 Jews, Ukrainians, Roma, and people of different nationalities, professions, and faiths whom the Nazis murdered simply because they were different. Together with Israeli Minister Zeev Elkin, German Federal Minister Karin Prien, Chairman of the Directorate of the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center Dani Dayan, government officials, rabbis, and ambassadors, we lit memorial candles beside the menorah at Babyn Yar. It is important that, despite Russia’s brutal war, our partners are able to come to Kyiv on the 85th anniversary of this tragedy to pay tribute to all the innocent victims of this terrible crime. And it is our shared duty to stand united against evil so that such tragedies never happen again.

Our intelligence and special services are now working to establish all available information about yet another attack in the Black Sea targeting civilian vessels. Two civilian vessels were attacked in Bulgarian waters last night. One sank, while the other sustained significant damage. We express our sympathy to everyone affected.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces conducted no operations in this area of the sea, and this latest tragedy involving civilian vessels is another part of Russia’s effort to make the western Black Sea completely unfit for navigation.

We verified all the details with the Bulgarian side. Our Navy contacted its counterparts in Bulgaria, and it has been established that this was a combined Russian attack using maritime and aerial drones.

I instructed our Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, our intelligence, and other services to coordinate with our partners as fully as possible – so that both they and we have greater capacity to defend ourselves.
