What a catch by Myers. The way he slammed into the wall at basically full speed and falling...I am amazed he got up.
#Brewers TV said he reached 27 mph. I mean that is a car crash where the one object doesn't move. Wow. I feel for him.
What a huge upset. There will be plenty of talk about the foul that disallowed Germany's potential game-winner...but I agree with the call.
In the end, you miss/get saved on 3 penalty kicks, you probably deserve to lose.
@sclemens55 I don't even feel that way right now. So inconsistent. Gotta ride it out & hope pitching wins them most games (which is usually the plan but tougher with a struggling pen, too).
This #Brewers offense is extremely concerning right now. I trust no one in the lineup & they rarely seem to give you those pesky, annoying at-bats anymore - especially with RISP.
Maybe late to the party here but...
aren't all these #USMNT changes rather risky in terms of rhythm & preparedness?
Obviously the yellow cards sit. Pulisic...ok. But the others? And keeper? I don't know.
The #Brewers superior starting pitching depth is the difference between them continuing to win when their offense slumbers...and losing in bunches like the Cubs did when they weren't hitting.
The soccer gods are looking down on Messi, I guess.
He made a wonderful pass to set up his teammate for what should have been an easy goal. He was denied...the ball ends up back to Messi - blocked once, then keeps going and finishes.
Two more goals (despite a missed PK).
Umpires: Please answer for me. Why does the field ump need to turn immediately to 1st base on a double play before the player throws to 1B? It's a 90 foot throw! There's time.
He said he didn't see interference because he turned to 1B, so no call. Not the 1st time I have seen it
