Not in every book, but if you look at the less than pristine condition , you will certainly find notes, highlights, scribbles, etc in a good number of them. Unless your book shop is serving an overly bougie market that's only interested in aesthetics.

@GoodforWho_ These cuts were done for syndicated reruns following it's initial broadcast. Paramount+ didn't make the cut, Paramount did back in 1998. The problem *now* is that Paramount+ decided to "save space" by putting up the reruns-cut version of the series instead of the original version
