@Gcarmi21 Which is why he's so insanely streaky. Will have 5 beautiful passes in a row followed by 5 terrible ones.
Even on his nice throws as soon as he was pressured he was taking 10 mini-hitches, his head was swiveling around at 100 miles an hour and his feet were chopping up the field
@TheAlphaRock1@dalvincookin It was pretty bad. He looked to his first read, stared for a couple of seconds. Went to the other side. Then bounced on his feet about 10 times, then ran into the D lineman.
@CrimsonClio@Gcarmi21@TheAthletic Rating is not a good indicator, because it doesn't take any situational context into account. QBR and EPA are much more comprehensive and indicative of QBA play. Hurts last season: 10th in QBR, 12th in EPA. Pretty good but certainly not elite.
Jayden Daniels: 4th in both.
@SchmoesBrother@VetMinimum@Gcarmi21@TheAthletic I just can't wait until Hurts eventually doesn't have an absolutely stacked team around him, goes back to being mediocre, and Eagles fans have to cope with Daniels being a top 5 QB for the next decade.
Remember, Joe Flacco, Nick Foles, Trent Dilfer, and Brad Johnson also won SBs
@cdssportspod@TheAthletic@SandoNFL But I can't wait for 10 years of Philly fans crying about Daniels being a better QB than Hurts and everyone knowing it.
@cdssportspod@TheAthletic@SandoNFL Hurts has never shown that he can put a team on his back and carry it. That's what Tier 1 is. Hurts has had an absolutely stacked team. Last year: #1 OL, #1 Defense, #1 RB. All he had to do was hand the ball off, make occasional passes, and let his OL push him into the end zone.
@LoganKnight_22@TheAthletic@SandoNFL Because he's not an elite QB. He had to have the #1 defense, #1 OL, and #1 RB in the NFL in order to go all the way. He's never shown that he's a QB who can carry a team, which is what Tier 1 is.
@MediaLiarz@TheAthletic@SandoNFL Probably around the same kind for you to think that Jalen "I need the #1 defense, #1 OL, #1 RB, and a stupid ass 'tush push' play to lean on in order to be successful" Hurts should be in Tier 1.
@mflowers7 @TheAthletic@SandoNFL Over a man who rode the #1 defense, #1 OL, and #1 RB in the NFL to the Superbowl.
The point of the top tier is guys who can carry a team on their own. Hurts has never shown he can do that.
@MT05959@TheAthletic@SandoNFL Maybe not have the #1 overall defense, #1 overall OL, and #1 overall RB to lean on? All Hurts has to do is hand the ball of, pass every once in a while, and let his O lineman put their hands on his ass and push him into the end zone. Stroud has no supporting cast around him.
@AlexMor48693187 @Gcarmi21@TheAthletic@grok It probably suggest about 10 years of Eagles fans being triggered and whining constantly that everyone knows Daniels is better than Hurts.
@PhillyE22881177@Gcarmi21@spitzzzz22@TheAthletic Hurts hardly had to do much all season. He had the #1 overall defense in the NFL, #1 overall OL in the NFL, #1 RB in the NFL. All he had to do was make some throws, not make too many mistakes, and let linemen push his ass into the end zone.
No NFL coaches would take him over JD.
@ashtonforbes Of course they're science fiction, you numbnuts. What's the Schwarzschild radius of these black holes? How are they created? How do you "weaponize" something which all matter falls into indiscriminately? Please provide some equations to back up your assertions, as well.
@FreedomlsntFree@WhiteHouse@POTUS Definitely something Jesus would have said.
You all are such anti-Christian nihilists. It's sort of funny that the Republican party used to be so religious.
