@baseballinpix Wow, such a cool photo. I was there too, my Dad took us there. That was an amazing day at County Stadium. Hank Aaron + George Scott is money!
@StoneColdJones@barstoolsports@StoneColdJones is right…you solve this simply by making these roughing calls reviewable in the booth. They would have reversed this in about 30 seconds had they had the opportunity to review it. BTW, his poised, thoughtful assessment right after the game was impressive too.
@PatMcAfeeShow Lag is atrocious. My fantasy apps are like 5 minutes ahead. I like the attempt at new formats, but this is so bush league…I was expecting so much better.
@Super70sSports So true. Similar to the m & b in the Brewers logo…once you spot the “H” as well as “W” in the Hartford Whalers logo, you can’t help but enjoy the awesomeness
@arneduncan Wow. Spectacular long-form storytelling about a very accomplished, smart person. Excellent counter-programming to short sound bites and small thinking.
@nut_history Krazy Carl Everett is competitive. But living in the Bay Area, it has to be Brian Wilson (the jet-black beard, staring down guys, closing games). Epic.
@scottostler@Bruce_Jenkins1@sfchronicle Agreed, this was such a compelling read this morning. It made me better appreciate Bill Russell, but also think about what a treasure @Bruce_Jenkins1 is, especially for those of us living in the Bay Area
@Acyn This is so spot on, @jonstewart . Thank you for calling out this garbage behavior from these Senators. The lack of urgency toward these Veterans is appalling. We need to continue to shine a light on this so Congress acts.
@ThePackersWire My two cents…The white helmet / yellow G should be called The Jaundice Throwbacks…terrible. The green helmet /yellow look like a 4th place high school football team uni….bush league. But the real gold helmet with the packers logo is pretty magical
