@CazWest23 (I just think WNL teams themselves in concert with "listening" FAWNL could come up with lots of improvements and be really creative as they know what's really worth trying - instead of this "top down take it or leave it & lose extra £'s if you leave it" stance)
@CazWest23 No experiment in the PGA league first? WSL teams have 4 extra games from next season but still only 25 player squads (thin if club does well in cups) so allow 28 player squads but oblige any 3 per PGA game to rotate to PGA to partially 'rest' and also teach / stress test youth?
@CazWest23 100% - not seeing anything in the proposals highlighting possible improvements to loan system so PGA's loan more players to WNL teams with financial incentives for WNL clubs to give them quality time with the WNL squad & some match minutes (allow 1 extra match sub if PGA player?)
Thought this post deserved a standalone post. When discussing why PGA teams hoping the WNL at tier 3 is a terrible idea let’s look at the FACTS…. No team made it past the 1st knockout round of the WNL Cup, no team made it past the 1/4 final of the plate, 70% of games ended in defeat. Arsenal bottom of their group, Palace losing to two Tier 4 teams and 6-1 to Hashtag! Charlton losing 7-0 and 6-1
Big teams Chelsea and Tottenham failed to win the capital cup losing to tier 4 teams...this was after Chelsea got beat 4-0 in the WNL Cup. Other teams getting beat 10-0 in county cups, PGA teams failing to fulfil fixtures. There’s your data and facts
Players who thrived were the ones who went on loan, trained with older and experienced players and were mentally and Ohysically strong enough for the WNL.
Let’s protect these players, help develop them…
Training alongside other young girls and then throwing them into league games against Women when they are not training with them or may not be mentally or Physically ready is not a good idea and will not help them develop.
The money coming in will not be life changing for the current WNL teams…this whole idea serves no purpose.
Why do we not have Men’s u21 teams in League 1?

NEW. The woman who was strangled, beaten and raped by Paul Quinn in Salford in 2003 is a "hero", said Mr Justice Bright.
His remarks at the start of the sentencing hearing at Manchester Crown Court must be read. I don't think I've read anything like them before from a judge in a Crown Court:
@ashaw_mpc@FAWNL@TalkingWoSo@Beyond_the_WSL@CazWest23 Only potential, not guaranteed, benefit to 4 & only 4 WSL clubs - FAWNL no benefit (£ blackmail?), rest of WSL/WSL2 no benefit (& both potentially lose)
Michele Kang at LCL, Tony Bloom at Brighton will accept this & still invest in PGA facilities, stadia etc only to be excluded?
Amazing to see my match report and analysis on Brighton Women’s FA Cup Final defeat in the @Worthing_Herald newspaper📰
It was a historic achievement for the Albion to reach their first major women’s final, with 43,917 supporters arriving in the capital for the occasion.

The 26/27 league allocations have created plenty of headlines, but the biggest stories may lie beneath the surface. Olivia Rafftery examines how decisions shape the pyramid's landscape.

@BarclaysWSL Pity you didn't have space in the survey to ask if we want 4 (& only 4) clubs to have their PGA's play in the FAWNL, a perceived advantage for those 4 Academies & wider clubs over those of all other clubs (otherwise absolutely no point in the proposal).
@BHAFCWomen Would have really liked Rosa to stay, very quickly a real asset to the squad & likely to just get better and better.....thanks and all the very best to Rosa for the future 👍
@SheGulls Nice posts from the club for Sophie & Libby, hope they add a reel or photos for Rosa too as she's been a big plus to the squad & I would have really been happy if she stayed....very best of luck & thanks to all 3.
@BHAFCWomen Super keeper & super personally with the fans - sadly no holiday yet as she's with England 😀
Thanks for the memories & very best of luck Baggers
