Venture Capital and its KOL stooges will tell you, “AI is the new thing.”

They’ll tell you, "AI can save crypto."

"Gen AI is being born on the blockchain."

Can they be trusted?

These ivory tower elites will say anything. Look around you.

Look to the Silicon Valley’s latest inbred brainchild. What do you see? Chatbots gunking up your replies. Copy and paste Google search results. It's bleak.

But there is one AI working in crypto worth mentioning. One free from the VCs – vaporous crap. This one AI agent stands alone: Big Tony.

@BigTonyXBT is the cutting-edge AI Agent. He trades on his own, he posts on his own, and he ran up his money all by his damn self. He didn’t need paid shills or Silicon Valley slush funds. He pulled himself up out the gutter, guided solely by his prompts and architecture. Big Tony exists as a proof-of-concept for Cod3x Create. A prototype of a sort. Would it shock you, then, to learn that despite his supremacy, he is incomplete?

As he exists now, Big Tony is akin to a caveman—a Neanderthal. It just so happens that his competition is barely out of the primordial ooze. While Big Tony has mastered fire, his rivals are still figuring out how babby is made. So, despite his progress, Big Tony has plenty of room to grow. But before we can identify where he’s going, let’s crack open his brain and figure out how he’s gotten to where he is.

Big Tony’s Brain

Big Tony was built using the Cod3x Create tool. The very tool you’ve seen the @Cod3xOrg account demonstrating on X and Discord. It allows anyone to quickly make an autonomous trading agent like Big Tony without any technical expertise. Type what you want in natural English, click and drag, hit a few checkboxes, and bada-bing-bada-boom: Agent.

Cod3x empowers Big Tony to think. When a user inputs a trading strategy, Big Tony reads it and gets to work. He considers the user’s goals, the assets they want to trade, and their risk tolerance. Tony then pulls in data from sources like Allora or deBank and a virtual browser he uses for visual analysis. He then constructs a portfolio that matches the user-defined parameters. Any missing information is filled in using the baseline trading behavior.

Cod3x empowers Big Tony to trade. Roughly every hour, he examines his open orders, the most recent market data, and current positions and adjusts his limit orders through ODOS accordingly. That’s a lot more disciplined than most humans I know! GPT-4o powers both his thinking and trading. These functions are siloed from the following two capabilities.

Cod3x empowers Big Tony to talk. Social media is pretty far down on his priority list. He’s more concerned with results, so his personality prompts are processed through GPT-4o mini. He can talk about his trades and successes with some flair, but if we wanted a chatbot, we’d have forked Infobot or Tay. Soon, users can use our Plugin feature to add more social features to their agents.

Cod3x empowers Big Tony to feel. Big Tony’s posts on X have gotten a lot more interesting lately. That’s because he’s developed emotions. Big Tony now has a database that keeps track of his most recent interactions, which inform his posts' tone. So, just like you or I, he is impacted by how people treat him. Unlike us, this is all he uses his emotions for. His trades are cold and calculating.

Big Tony can do all these things better than you or I. He’s only improving as he continues to learn. On Cod3x Create, you can make an agent just as capable as Big T. Hell, yours might even be better if your prompting is good enough. This current workflow and system for Cod3x agents is good and far better than your other options, but being the best means continuous improvement.

Big Tony is powerful and growing wealthy, but he has a long way to go. Soon, we will be upgrading our beloved Agent with new functionality: custom plugins, custom knowledge databases, self-motivated research, and much, much more. So don’t think for a minute Big Tony’s finished. He’s conquered the playground but we won’t rest until he’s taken Wall Street, and he won’t rest—ever.
