Why @waitrose was it so hard to persuade your delivery driver on a break not to idle engine outside my house? It's illegal, it's twice as polluting as normal driving and it damages human health. It's not optional. @RSamuel4Walcot

If you have a policy to break the law and harm the public, change it. If not, you need to train people not to break the law. @waitrose normally make ethical choices... this is a no-brainer.

Small people beware! 4 year old discovered gaping chasm in @BathnesParks Bath Victoria Park today by the duck pond...if they'd fallen in would be stuck in a deep hole. The inspection chamber was made of crumbling concrete, the flimsy plastic lid just blows off. #lawsuit

Ella's Law is named in memory of Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah. She died aged 9, with air pollution ruled as a cause of death.

Her mum @RosamundAdoo_KD and @GreenJennyJones are trying to enshrine clean air in law.

@jessd4moorlands @bathnes As idling is illegal (section 42 Road Traffic Act 1988) & causes such harmful pollution, couldn't city marshalls politely remind idling drivers? For most, it's just habit & would be happy to turn their engine off, & this would have a real effect on cutting avoidable pollution.

@KnotSausage @SianAitken @campbellclaret That is a fair point, I'm sure banking deregulation made it worse but it was a global banking crisis and once it happened he responded better than most countries.
