@DwWork2@Peston Funny how when they're failing we (taxpayers) need to step in. When they're making massive profits, that money gets whisked offshore faster than you can say "Tory Donor".
Taking £20-a-week from the poorest people in the country as food & energy costs rise is objectively barbaric. But it’s not enough for the Conservative party. They’re putting up their taxes too.
Appalling policy. If energy firms get a penny of taxpayers’ money then taxpayers deserve to say how they are run.
Yet again, we see free market capitalism in the good times & taxpayers’ bailouts in the bad times so energy firms, like banks, can continue ripping us off.
When the financial crisis was global, the Tories persuaded voters it was Made in Britain, by Gordon Brown. Nowadays they would have us believe every self-inflicted Brexit calamity is a worldwide problem. They took us out of the EU internal energy market. And ca-boom.
Just don’t know what it takes for politicians to fight for us. I mean really fight. With passion and credibility and anger. This moral stinkpit of a Tory party with its repugnant PM are doing such harm and the opposition seems so tame and lame.
FFS. Come on! This is our country.

An essential archive. Will come in particularly useful for Brexit-supporting journalists if they ever get around to telling the truth about what they've done.
I went on the Underground for the first time in months yesterday. Very crowded. Half not wearing masks. I walked home…
When I see someone these days not wearing a mask in crowded spaces, I don’t think ‘how brave and free’ but ‘how selfish or ignorant’ https://t.co/wd3ZpUaKkM
Tim Loughton MP for East Worthing/Shoreham having the audacity to say families use food banks due to not budgeting correctly
MPs earn £81,933 & claim £25 for food when away
If they can't buy their own lunch with £81,000+ how dare they criticise low income families in food poverty
Should Boris Johnson be able to commit us to Military Alliances which put us into conflict with Superpowers such as China and alienate our allies such as France and the EU: without any consultation and parliamentary approval?
