Oh… ok I just listened again in “ok” sounding JBL Bluetooth phones… the audio in both versions is definitely distorted.
That 79 version is much cleaner… and the latter version is as well… whatever this compilation upload is wasn’t level checked or they couldn’t hear it…

People are losing it. Been going on for a long time… not this per se, but in general the mental state of a lot of people continues to get worse. There’s already a cross section of people who think they’re the opposite sex.
This new thing with the mom’s… turns out maybe a lot of women aren’t ready to have kids… doesn’t help if the dad is an asshole and just leaves. A lot of people have unexpected kids and just deal with it… it’s a new life. Ain’t easy…but X amount of people can’t handle it. The kids pay the price… sometimes with their life.

Probably more noticeable now�� live they’ve always been strong. But just comparing these 2 vids.. the 1st one was a staged video shoot with live sound… no crowd. It’s also fresh back when they wrote it. New energy.

The later vid is 35ish years later, Geds tone is not the 20 something Geddy. Still sounds fine… it’s just a different delivery.

There’s some Hemispheres bootlegs I’ve been hearing on YouTube…. Peart is absolutely smashing it… so tight..Lifeson’s guitar is screaming and Ged has the young sound and is killing the bass lines…. and that’s what I remember about seeing them.

That gets toned down in the later years… still sounds good… the delivery is different. The newer material always sounds great. It’s the older stuff you’ll notice.
