@BestBallJunkie@zakidaadaa@WelBeast The U.S. does fine in soccer when it comes to athleticism. Their shortcomings are in other areas: tactical discipline, limited technique, and naivety.
@PennsylvaniaZu@gerardtbaker@AB84 It really depends on the sport and players. Ochocinco has a great physique for soccer. Gronkowski is too big for the sport.
@PennsylvaniaZu@gerardtbaker@AB84 There are plenty of black people who play soccer. Senegal is probably the best black team. Its players are considerably more athletic than Europeans, but they have inferior levels when it comes to being fundamentally sound and having tactical discipline.
@Dubbington2203@AmFootballin That doesn't apply to basketball. No soccer player at the same size as LeBron James had ever prospered in soccer. Allen Iverson is a good size for the sport, but he's tiny by badketball standards.
@DoubleJ__96@JohnAmmen@MadridFan32227@MoMohler Well, Japan's team has clever tactics and is strong on the fundamentals. But we have regularly seen them get out-muscled by physically larger teams. Athleticism matters a lot in this sport in 2026.
@DoubleJ__96@JohnAmmen@MadridFan32227@MoMohler Guus Hiddink took over and transformed Russia, South Korea, and Australia into formidable teams in major tournaments. There's no reason why the USA can't become tactically disciplined and organized the way mediocre teams from around the world become when coached by Europeans.
@JohnLocke504@memo_cake@iowahawkblog Lebron James is far too big for soccer. He would be clumsy and awkward with the ball at his feet. No one at his size has ever prospered in the sport. Steph Curry is tall by ⚽ standards. Allen Iverson is the perfect size for soccer.
@marsjfields@MrDrProf2 F you, fåggöt. Blacks are not and will never be native to Europe. The Croats are a nation with a common origin and shared history.
