Maria Vlasiuk was a nurse.
She had previously treated wounded soldiers at a civilian hospital, but then decided she wanted to help them closer to the battlefield

She completed military medical training and became a combat medic with the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade🇺🇦

She repeatedly ventured into dangerous areas to evacuate wounded soldiers.
On May 24, 2022, near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Maria once again headed out to bring wounded comrades to safety.

She never returned.
Maria was only 27 years old.
She died while evacuating the wounded💔

This amazing woman was a recipient of the Order for Courage, 3rd Class.
