The Janger Mask, hand carved by Nyman Ouger in #Bali, #Indonesia. These #masks were made famous by the anthropologist, Margaret Mead in the 1920s whilst she was living and working in Bali. Her work is now housed in the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

1st pic is of Chicken Of The Woods fungus, it is edible and delicious when it grows on the right wood, but is poisonous when it grows on Yew trees (like in this picture). 2nd pic shows a fern looking decidedly autumnal & 3rd pic shows an oak sapling growing out of a gorse bush.
Reposting this picture from the other day because I incorrectly labeled them as being crochet hooks when they are quite clearly knitting needles! They are all made from #IndianRosewood and come in a wide range of sizes from fine to very chunky.
