@GcscTechnology I have not had a chance to work with the Sphero RVR. It looks pretty cool. Do you have any expierence with the RVR? Would you recommend the RVR for Grades 6-8?
@ubeme@msseigler Sphero has a couple different different apps. I use the Sphero edu app. You have to type Sphero edu in the search for it to show up. Make sure you have Bluetooth turned on before launching the app. When you connect it will ask what version of Sphero you have. I hope this helps.
@CodingWCulture@makerbot has free downloadable educator guidebook for this project (see H2 make it go) and other projects. I did this with 8th graders because it requires a lot of precision with measuring and aligning components. https://t.co/3n2P9vutxx
@knoplaw The Sphero is approximately 73mm in diameter so you can create a Sphere in TinkerCad and use it as a hole to create sone sort of hat that attaches to the Sphero.
@knoplaw Students had to measure diameter of the cup as well as well as the Sphero to create their own custom vehicle capable of transporting the water. I had students use digital calipers to measure.
