@11point7 I ran college baseball tournaments for 25+ years and we would never start a game if we weren’t confident we could get at least three innings in…would Al way consult with both coaches so we didn’t waste pitching.
@SteveMurry44 Hope you have a great season. Played there 51 years ago this spring. Wasn’t very good but it helped lead me to a 40+ year career in college athletics including 20+ year stint of being in charge of Big Eight and Big 12 regular season baseball and the post-season tournaments.
@BBGreatMoments@MarkDavis I was at the game as a 10-year old from Chanute, Kansas. My first Major League Baseball game - thanks to my brothers Jim and John. Of course I didn’t understand the significance at that time, I was just a kid who loved baseball.
