@Annakhait In context, it’s not just bashing babies, it’s genocide against a whole group? awesome.... right?? 😳 But thats just man taking? 🤔 According to the Bible God created evil, it’s interesting you think that anything it says that is evil is man talking.
@MikeWingerii Atheists should get out of the habit of trying to Refute every story a believer can spin or every claim he can manufacture. Place the burden of Proof on the person when he makes the claim.. seems like sound advice indeed.
@pulte Can you PLEASE help raise awareness that the HB 6201 is almost impossible to implement for the small business it’s supposed to help. Most can’t afford to provide the 3 months of pay without income, while waiting on the reimbursement from the government.
@bikeking_19 But they don’t accept he was resurrected. That’s why we don’t accept testimony of magic or Bigfoot as creditable evidence in a courtroom. Without an empirical basis already, mere testimony isn’t sufficient to grant a whole new category of ontology.
@bikeking_19 eyewitness testimony of things we don’t have an implicit empirical basis for is not sufficient. Which is why historians can accept that he was killed.
@bikeking_19 So do you agree their testimony about seeing Jesus wouldn’t be accepted today? If the argument is “many people claim to have seen it and wrote about it, therefore it’s true” i have bad news for ya. That’s a horrible argument.
@bikeking_19 Each sect of Christianity has actually come from that controversy you say doesn’t exist, and Eyewitness testimony of miracles, magic or mythical creatures are NOT accepted in court. For good reason.
@bikeking_19@JohnAPoker@DougPolkPoker What’s interesting is that we have 0 contemporary non Christian sources of the resurrection. It seems all the evidence for a Resurrection boils down to a couple of people claiming to have seen jesus after he died and were willing to “die” for that belief.
@bikeking_19@JohnAPoker@DougPolkPoker How many non Christian, contemporary sources cite the resurrection? I don’t think it’s really debated amongst historians if he was killed. The hurdle you have to clear is the resurrection. What is the evidence for that, And is it sufficient?
@bikeking_19 The Bible is definitely not 100% historically accurate. For example, Was jesus born during the time of Quirinius(in luke) or Herod( in Mathew)? According to Josephus, Herod died in 4BCE, 10 years earlier? Both accounts cannot be true.
@dreaaathomas @HeadsUpGoalie "Trans cost the military more than they benefit it. This isn't a hate thing "
ignorant bigot thing? Obviously your cost analysis is shit
