@pattybuilds It's a bit excessive solo; seems like this would be better with a group. Toyosu Manyo Club isn't private but you do get a great view of the city from the rooftop pool.
@obfuscated_id@mc_khristina It's good for the place that is creating the rule, and owns the thing that is being sold. But yes is bad for speculators by lowering early liquidity (or said another way, reduces volatility). You still get to sell it before the people who bought it at <$10/share.
@svgefck@noslord1776 It's not just SpaceX, they needed to remove it for all the other upcoming AI IPOs. There isn't enough money available otherwise without getting global investment in AI.
@BoBbyPleWniaK@Alexander_Ilios Fid effectively bought shares for <$10 so why wouldn't they sell their unrestricted ones now? They have plenty that they need to hold anyway.
@gectrees@Anlijuu There is retro there, but realize that retro isn't a constant "Super Nintendo etc." but a constant -X yrs from now , which might be different from what you want. Nakano has stuff back to the heisei/shows era so it may be a good spot to shop/browse for what you want.
@rmprescott@eevblog@C_S_Skeptic there might be a market for an index-ish fund with options of either AI focused/normal index/No AI stocks as people seem to be pretty opinionated about it.
@zeegorr@BujokMr Whether you decide to invest or not, just be aware that while you are purchasing a portion of SpaceX, what you are investing in is AI as that is the anticipated growth portion.
@zeegorr@BujokMr It's not even that, but it does let them get lower interest rates if their valuation is much larger than their loans. It's technically also good for their investors as it makes the company more profitable.
@bokugare Aluminum is actually not good for cooling whiskey, it transfers heat to quickly. You want something with high heat capacity but a low thermal transfer rate. For whiskey rocks, stainless steel is good, but so are rocks/stone. Titanium is also fine but I agree it's unnecessary.
@ladanuzhna The concern for a gene therapy like this isn't "it is too good, we wouldn't be able to make as much money as constant treatment" it is that, for example, cholesterol is the majority of the brain, so this may (no idea if it does) have secondary negative effects such as Alzheimer's
