Tubular shaped interstellar spacecraft - United States Patent

Its a 2012 patent titled “Tubular shaped interstellar space craft.” It proposes a hybrid aircraft/spacecraft using plasma and charged particle propulsion instead of traditional rockets.

Core idea (simplified)

The craft is basically a long cylindrical vehicle with:

Coils wrapped around the body
A central electromagnetic coil system
A proton accelerator running front → back

The concept is:

Ionize surrounding air (or gas)
The coils heat and energize the air to create plasma (free electrons + protons)

Capture and accelerate protons
A magnetic field pulls these charged particles into a proton accelerator inside the craft

Shoot particles out the back → thrust
Accelerated protons exit the rear, producing propulsion (similar idea to ion thrusters, but much more extreme)

Key components

From the claims:

Opposing electrical coils → create plasma + magnetic fields
Resonating circuit (coil + capacitors) → generates strong EM fields
Proton accelerator → pushes particles along the craft
Electrode chain → alternates charges to accelerate particles
Materials mentioned:

🧠 What it’s trying to achieve

The idea is a plasma propulsion system that:

Works in atmosphere and space
Doesn’t rely on traditional fuel like rockets
Could reach extremely high speeds

On February 19, 1951, Captain Jack Bicknell, piloting a Lockheed Lodestar passenger plane over East Africa (near Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanganyika), spotted a large metallic, bullet/cigar-shaped object with three vertical black bands and a fin-like rear.

Hovering motionless at ~10,000 ft for several minutes

Rose vertically to ~40,000 ft

Then accelerated eastward at high speed with no propulsion or vapor trails

Witnessed by crew and passengers through binoculars; estimated 200+ feet long

Captain Bicknell sketched it after landing

As you can see, the craft seen in 1951 and the craft from the American patent show striking similarities and lead me to wonder how far back in time these vehicles go.

After careful review of some photos taken in a timelapse during a CE5 gathering in Joshua Tree in November, 2025, we decided this is the most unexplainable / anomalous photo. No cell phones were on. And what is that misty shape above Pat Pearsall’s head? No one’s breath was making mist, it was cold, but not that cold. This showed up in only one photo in the series, where a picture is being taken for 1/5 of a second every 5 seconds over the course of several hours. This light, or glow, showed up on three ladies as we were meditating under the stars, in the moonlight. We don’t know what the glow is. Looks pretty strange.
The other photographer there, Jeff Sell told me he has interacted with these “Misty” beings in Joshua Tree before, he named them “Misty”.
The last image as you swipe, at the end, are the 5 seconds before and after photos in the timelapse.
