I was in the Top 2 in my class. There was a bloke who finished with 4.94/5.00 GPA, how do you compete with that? 🤷‍♂️😁

We had six (6) students who finished with a First Class. Three out of the six are in the U.S. and one in Canada, all of us are doing quite well. The remaining two, the 4.94 guy and the only female, are with Shell in Nigeria, so yes, they are doing great too.

There are several ways to measure success. But if you want to restrict it to good health, wealth and stable marriage/family, I think you can say all six of us are quite successful.

I am not sure that if you randomly take six people in a different class, say 2.2 or 3rd class, you can say the same. That is, two or three of the lot may be doing well but probably not all six.

It remains true, universally (Nigeria or U.S.) that the best predictor of future success is the grade you finish with in school.

Book no be scam. If you finish secondary school, do your best to go for higher education AND graduate with the highest possible GPA you can. Your future self will thank you.
