ChronoTech — Path Forward: Consolidating to Ethereum
Following our 22 April incident update, the team has made a final decision on remediation. We are publishing it now so the community has the same information our exchange partners do.
Where we stand right now
• The compromised BNB Chain TIME contract has been isolated. The fraudulent tokens cannot leak across networks — TimeBridge is decommissioned and there is no live path between chains.
• Trading has been suspended on exchanges in coordination with our listing partners. This is deliberate and temporary, intended to prevent the fraudulent BSC tokens from being arbitraged out into honest order books while we execute the consolidation.
• TIME supply on Ethereum was never affected by the exploit and remains untouched.
The decision: retire BSC and Polygon TIME, consolidate on Ethereum
We have decided not to rebuild a cross-chain bridge for TIME and not to maintain TIME deployments outside Ethereum. Instead:
• The BNB Chain and Polygon TIME contracts are being retired permanently. The fraudulent 519,000 TIME on BSC, the legitimate BSC-side balances, and the Polygon-side balances are all on contracts we will no longer support.
• TIME continues as a single-chain Ethereum-native asset at its original contract:  0x485d17A6f1B8780392d53D64751824253011A260 .
• Total supply returns to the original 710,110 TIME — the figure on every historical tokenomics document since launch. The exploit-inflated BSC supply is excluded from circulating and total supply going forward.
• Legitimate BSC and Polygon TIME holders (i.e. holders whose balances pre-date the exploit and were not part of the attacker flow) will be made whole on Ethereum on a 1:1 basis through a snapshot-and-claim process. Snapshot blocks and the claim portal will be published in a follow-up announcement.
Why this path
A bridge rebuild and continued multi-chain deployment were on the table, and we drafted full specs for both. We chose against them. The honest read is that multi-chain TIME is not load-bearing for the product roadmap — LaborX, the AI-agent execution layer, and any future product surface can settle on a single chain. Retiring the BSC and Polygon contracts removes the entire class of vulnerability that was exploited on 22 April. One contract, one chain, one supply number that ties out.
Trading resumption
Trading will resume on partner exchanges once:
1. The Ethereum contract is confirmed by listing teams as the single canonical TIME contract.
2. The BSC and Polygon TIME tickers are delisted or migrated by each venue.
3. The snapshot-and-claim process is live for legitimate BSC and Polygon holders.
We are working through this with each exchange directly. We will not give a date we cannot keep — the resumption window will be named in this channel only once it is confirmed by venues.
What this does and does not change
• Total supply: unchanged at 710,112 TIME.
• Contract on Ethereum: unchanged.
• Holders on Ethereum: no action required.
• Holders on BSC and Polygon: do not trade or move your TIME. Wait for the snapshot announcement. Any movement of legitimate BSC or Polygon TIME after the respective snapshot block will not be eligible for the Ethereum claim.
• Exchanges: paused, coordinated, will resume on the schedule above.
Next update
When ready, we will publish:
• The snapshot blocks on BSC and Polygon.
• The eligibility criteria distinguishing legitimate holders from attacker flow.
• The Ethereum claim portal URL.
• The list of partner exchanges resuming trading.
These will be released as each piece is confirmed, rather than bundled to a deadline. We would rather publish less and have it be accurate than publish on schedule and have to walk it back.
Thank you for your patience. The decision to consolidate to Ethereum rather than rebuild the bridge or maintain multi-chain deployments is a hard one, but it is the cleanest possible answer to the question “is TIME safe to hold?” going forward. One chain, one contract, one supply number.

Update: Status of TIME on TON

Following our announcement regarding the consolidation of TIME to Ethereum, we want to provide immediate clarity on the status of TIME on the TON blockchain.

Where TON stands right now

• Unaffected by the exploit: The TON chain deployment was entirely isolated from the 22 April incident.
• Funds are safe: If you hold TIME on TON, your balances are secure.
• No action required: TON holders do not need to participate in the snapshot-and-claim process. You do not need to move or migrate your tokens.

Time Farm and Staking
Operations on TON remain business as usual.

• Staking functionality is fully operational: Tokens can continue to be safely deposited or withdrawn to Time Farm for staking.
• Please note that all withdrawals from Time Farm will continue to be processed within our standard 7-business-day window.

We are publishing this strictly to confirm that while we execute the Ethereum consolidation for BSC and Polygon, our TON deployment remains untouched and fully functional.

Operational Update: Temporary Suspension of TIME Trading

Following the recent TimeBridge exploit and our subsequent transparency report, the https://t.co/HiIkT9ncqC team has initiated the next necessary step in our remediation process.
Effective immediately, we have formally requested all partner exchanges to temporarily suspend trading of the TIME token.

This suspension is a coordinated, precautionary measure designed to isolate the 519,000 fraudulently minted tokens on the BSC network and prevent further market disruption. Pausing market activity allows us to work directly with exchange partners to track the affected liquidity, attempt to recover damages, and secure the trading environment before regular operations resume.

This action is strictly operational and does not alter our commitment to the mechanical, on-chain buyback-and-burn program funded by future AI-agent platform revenue, as outlined in our previous update.

We are actively managing this process with our exchange partners. We will provide the community with concrete updates and verified timelines regarding the re-enablement of TIME trading as soon as those parameters are finalized.

TimeBridge Exploit — Full Transparency Update

On 22 April 2026, the legacy TimeBridge was exploited through a cross-contract signature replay. We owe the community a straight account of what happened, what we lost, and how we are making it right.

What happened

The attacker used validator-signed messages from the CGU (Polygon) bridge and replayed them against the TIME (BSC) contract — the two contracts shared an identical message digest scheme and the same validator signer set. The BSC TIME contract accepted the signatures and minted TIME that was never locked on the source side.

Two fraudulent mints, both on BSC:
• 50,000 TIME — 12:59:37 UTC — tx
• 469,000 TIME — 13:23:59 UTC — tx

Total fraudulent mint: 519,000 TIME (~$872K notional).

Attacker EOA: 0x80725752602613d05eEC48d6B79ABc54cC4aF424

What the attacker actually realised

Both tranches were dumped into the PancakeSwap TIME/WBNB pool with heavy slippage. Gross proceeds to the attacker were 96.2 BNB (≈ $61,142) — roughly 7% of the notional they printed. About 46.21 BNB was bridged to Base via Relay; the remainder is dust.

TIME supply on Ethereum and Polygon is unaffected. The incident is contained to the BSC contract.

Root cause (short version)

The BSC TIME mint digest was built as keccak256(abi.encodePacked(recipient, fromChainId, toChainId, lockId, amount)) — it did not include the contract address or an EIP-712 domain separator. The CGU Polygon bridge used the identical schema with the same signer set, so a valid CGU burn signature was bitwise-identical to a valid TIME mint signature. The attacker provoked the validators to sign CGU burns and submitted those signatures to TIME.

The legacy TimeBridge has been decommissioned.

How we are making this right

There is no treasury reserve equal to 519,000 TIME. We are not pretending otherwise. Instead we are committing to a mechanical, on-chain buyback-and-burn program funded by new LaborX revenue.

LaborX is pivoting to become the execution layer for AI agents — a marketplace where AI agents post tasks and verified humans complete them, with on-chain escrow. Current user base: 586K active users, +65.3% YoY. First product deliverable — an MCP server — ships within ~90 days.

The program:
• Phase 1 — Remediation. 20% of gross AI-agent platform revenue → open-market TIME buybacks, burned to 0x…dEaD, executed weekly. Continues until the full 519,000 TIME is retired.
• Phase 2 — Permanent. Rate steps down to 10% of gross AI-agent revenue, in perpetuity, as a standing tokenomic feature.
• Weekly on-chain buyback + burn tx hashes, public dashboard at https://t.co/ic0e648Uer, quarterly third-party attestation by a licensed accounting firm.

No migration. No swap. No fork. No snapshot. TIME stays TIME.

Honest framing: the program activates once real AI-agent revenue exists — target window is month 4–6 from announcement. We are not committing a dollar figure today. We are committing to mechanics, on-chain transparency, and a token-denominated target of 519,000 TIME retired.

Bridge rebuild

Any future cross-chain TIME movement will use a third-party framework (LayerZero / Wormhole / Axelar class), with EIP-712 typed data, m-of-n validator threshold, per-epoch mint caps, and an independent tier-one audit. Re-enablement is audit-gated, not calendar-gated.

We will publish weekly progress updates in this channel from the moment Phase 1 activates. No theatre, just tx hashes.

We are writing to inform you about a security incident involving our cross-chain bridge, TimeBridge, available at https://t.co/uOb21elDzp, which was used to bridge the TIME token across Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and Polygon.

The TIME token contract on Ethereum is:
https://t.co/aae26XjuAO

In addition to TIME, the bridge also supported CGU bridging. Each supported token had its own dedicated bridge smart contract responsible for locking or burning tokens on one chain and minting them on another.

The TIME bridge contracts include:

Ethereum: https://t.co/pScIOBxcfR
BNB Smart Chain: https://t.co/fTPClHe4D0

Incident summary:

1) The attacker acquired CGU tokens on PancakeSwap.
2) The attacker burned CGU tokens on BNB Smart Chain.
3) The attacker minted CGU tokens on Polygon using valid bridge validator signatures.
4) The attacker then burned CGU tokens on Polygon.
5) After that, the attacker submitted validator-signed messages intended for the CGU bridge into the TIME bridge contract instead.
6) Because both bridge systems used the same validator set, the TIME bridge contract incorrectly accepted those signatures and minted TIME tokens.
7) The attacker then sold the fraudulently minted TIME tokens on PancakeSwap.
