[Larpers like this need to go, if you don’t like what DeckNine did then leave. Like the inability for some of these people to accept that DeckNine is now the ones responsible for LiS is staggering. Where was their “artist integrity” back in 2015 when they sold the LP to Square?
@dodo1414_ To put it in simple terms, DontNod made both LiS games to help fund bigger projects. This isn’t to say they’re not passionate about them but ultimately that’s what they were made for. It’s the same reason Tell Me Why and Lost Records were made, to help generate revenue that..
@dodo1414_ [DN created the project because they needed funding after the failure of “Remember Me.” Because ultimately they want to be triple A not “indie”
@AthenaLotus14 [yeah people need to stop a lot of things, half of this fandom lacks media literacy. “Chloe ruined Max” has the be one of the dumbest takes I’ve ever seen.
[Regardless of her choices Max is still the most morally good character in the series, primarily using her powers to help others. She’s not perfect since there’s no such thing as perfect but her flaws are minimal compared to her strengths.
Don’t get me started on the people that erase Max’s autonomy and her choices by claiming that Chloe is the bad egg that spoiled her
Like no, honey, she has made questionable decisions even if most were good intentions, but we all know the road to hell can be paved by them
@dodo1414_ [Then maybe it shouldn’t have? Ultimately DontNod was a company that needed to make money to continue running so they did what they could to make more money. There’s nothing wrong with this but it’s the same thing that DeckNine is now doing
[The Life is Strange fandom is so funny, the first game was about “letting go” and “accepting things you can’t control.” Yet half of them swear that DontNod will one day swoop in and make “canon” LiS games again. The cope is unbelievable
