***LOCATION CHANGE*** From the people who brought you June 5 developer protests….This time we’re coming for Boris Johnson! July 15, 12PM, 10 Downing Street ‼️‼️FB: https://t.co/Lnp1G9mXRB ‼️‼️Pls share & RT! #StrongerTogether#BuildingSafetyCrisis#EndOurFireSafetyScandal 📢
If government deems it okay to structure a loan to leaseholders in this manner, then why not developers and those who have been pushing flammable products in the market
Quite right #endourcladdingscandal#NotJustCladding
Thank you @EnfieldDispatch

Property dev Ballymore under fire over surging annual costs and maintenance issues: ‘We are all normal people... We can’t afford to keep spending on wasted facilities. I can’t sell, I can’t rent... I can’t even get an email back. It is ruining lives.’

Another day of stress and terror in @LQHomesMatter building. Window just came down crashing from 5th floor on busy public pavement in front of my gate. It’s not just #cladding that keeps us unsafe in this building.
How much more fear and stress can we take @LQHomesMatter?
Developer Berkeley on track for £500 million profit this year. £280 million for shareholders, on top of £1.4 billion paid since 2016 (https://t.co/pjFcju5pIM). Another developer that could pay all the £200 million proposed government levy by itself #EndOurFireSafetyScandal
@ilovecollywood@RobertJenrick Our building had the new heat alarm triggered by the use of a toaster by our waking watch. Bear in mind heat alarms are not installed in kitchens. Beggars belief really 🤦🏻♀️
I just signed the petition demanding that @RobertJenrick and @RishiSunak end our national cladding scandal by making sure that home owners are not left to foot the bill to fix the unsafe buildings they live in. Will you sign too? https://t.co/YU0AaWBEi9 via @38_degrees
“These are shocking numbers... It’s like taking half the first rung of the housing ladder away, which takes half of the second rung away, which takes part of the third rung away, and so on. It is very dangerous for everybody.” - @PhilSpencerTV https://t.co/7rjkrZXykR
Sales of flats have halved as Land Registry data reveals for the first time how a scandal over the shoddy construction of recent British homes is freezing the housing market. Flat transactions worth £1.6bn were lost in Sept alone. My p1 story today https://t.co/7rjkrZXykR
@ToryHomes Are you aware that hundreds of thousands of leaseholders have been sold homes that aren't fire safe & now face the threat of bankruptcy & homelessness. They could be your Tory voters of the future!
Here's a bold solution: the Government can step in and #EndOurCladdingScandal 💙
Leaseholders did buy their homes in good faith + are victims in this #CladdingCrisis. Many developers + building owners have done the right thing + paid for the removal of #Grenfell-style flammable cladding. More need to do so +we are keeping tabs.👇 https://t.co/iFzi55oXnh
All because you’re allowing your builder chums (who donate to the Tories) to pass down costs onto leaseholders who don’t even own the bloody buildings. Shared owners don’t even own 100% of their lease!

The housing market is looking likely to crash because millions of homes are unsaleable, first time buyers can’t get their first buy, and chains are breaking.
#endourcladdingscandal (5/10)
Leaseholders are forced to pay £100s a month for #wakingwatch which has no evidence of effectiveness other than allowing building owners to pass on liability. It also makes it impossible for innocent leaseholders to save any money for remediations.
