A really rewarding workshop run by @SarahJMoncrieff this week.
Working with asylum seekers supported by volunteers from @Care4Calais the workshop enabled the guys get together and make new friends in a creative environment. It also allowed them to build support connections.

It was a lot of fun at today’s workshop with Oxford based participants supported by @Care4Calais and run by @SarahJMoncrieff
The guys produced fun portraits and amazing city pieces. Such a pleasure to work with people who appreciate having time together to be creative.

December's @TimeforArt3 workshop with @SarahJMoncrieff may have clashed with the footie, but all credit to the guys from Venda at @AsylumWelcome they still produced so much super artwork....in between the goals!!

The space may be a bit small and challenging but artist @SarahJMoncrieff can adapt most projects to allow the young people some time to relax, be creative and enjoy themselves.

The group produced beautiful and colourful paintings on the theme of trees. So impressed with their enthusiasm and talent.
