Tim, since you seem to struggle with stories for the characters, here are a few ideas for the Grant-Nash family in Season 10. 🧵
- Athena challenged by detective partner.
- May struggling to detach from patients.
-Exploring Harry beyond his job.
- Family theme is boundaries.
So, Athena really was supposed to be detective not sergeant. Currently checking out 9-1-1 related articles in 2017-2019 mostly and they all refer to her as detective. They probably changed it so she can be on calls.
Ryan Murphy writing ep 1 of AHS Roanoke and having Angela Bassett play a cop. A year or so later, coming up with the idea for 911 and Angela headlining. Coincidence? Definitely not😉
This is literally Athena. Hair and all. I know they were watching this & a light bulb went off.
But I don’t trust Tim and this could all mean absolutely nothing other than what he said—he wants to see her in street clothes and its something new to blow budget on.🤷🏽♀️
Can easily tie emergencies (fire, crash, poison, fall) into something criminal. Also cases fit that drop in at anytime (arcs are 1-2 eppys) that seem to be all the rage. Slow burn, whole season arcs or relationship stories don’t seem to interest Tim or ABC.

Also, we need a limited series of Marie Laveau with Angela as lead ofcourse. A lot of people have been asking for it, it would be so good. Can dive even deeper into Marie. Angela would love that. Make it happen @ryanmurphyprod 🙏

Whoa Shit!!! Holy Smokes Good catch Rere!! Also, this is why I think they should stand on their decision to keep Athena a cop, but since the network is the one that pushed the detective angle and I don’t write the checks, it is what it is 😆
The show literally does this every year. They can submit actors, episodes, writers, directors, and other members of the creative team for Emmy consideration in their respective categories. 911 just never gets nominated for anything because they don't take it seriously.
