The senate voted against eliminating the other six programs recommended for elimination:
- Master of Accounting
- Master of Public Administration
- Physics major
- Astronomy major
- Rhetoric and Media Studies major
- Rhetoric minor
The Faculty Senate voted in favor of eliminating the evidence-based health care graduate certificate, the east Asian studies minor and the religion major.
Voting has been completed for the motion to eliminate the rhetoric minor, which was the last motion on the agenda. The results of the votes have not been released yet.

Ashley Dyson won the runoff election against Breckyn Lyons to become the next Student Body President.
Abby Tillotson won the runoff election against Cody Butenhoff to become the next Vice President of Student Life.

{Breaking} West Virginia University is finalizing a five-year deal to hire current Drake men's basketball coach Darian DeVries. DeVries, who has led Drake to three NCAA Tournament appearances in the past four seasons, will be WVU's next head men's basketball coach.
"The theme for the 2024 Relays is “Reaching for Gold,” which is inspired by this year’s summer Olympics. The musical opener is Aux Cord Wars, a musical group that bases their performance on audience participation."
