Glad to see Sycamore featured on Bloomberg’s Technology 25 African Startups list for 2026! It's an honour to know that the work you do is making impact.
This wouldn't be possible without my co-founders @MayowaAdeosun22 and Onyinye , and our incredible Sytizens. Lots of gratitude to our board, customers, and everyone who has supported us.

Few things are as funny to me as people posting obvious AI generated videos with the caption 'You wouldn't believe this video is not real'

Commuting in Lagos can take hours but Lagosians always find a way to make the most of it. What do you do while sitting in traffic?
Any recommendations for passing the time? Books? Podcasts? Quote this tweet with your tips! #ferryfebruary
Did you know that you could spend almost 3 hours going from Ikorodu to Lekki via a bus/ private car but only 25 mins if you take the ferry?
This is why we are mapping all the ferry routes in Lagos to help commuters understand water transit in the city.

Today, I am excited to see this project become a reality! We have a team out collecting data on all the informal/private ferries in #Lagos. The goal is to educate commuters about water transit, helping them have more enjoyable commutes and reducing road congestion #FerryFebruary

I'm struggling to readjust to Twitter. It's so different. But anything is better than the predictions and revelations going on in the world of Linkedin.
Thanks to everyone who made 2024 what it was - customers, employees and investors.
For Year 5, put my annual reflections on the lessons we learned building in the African data space.
Excited for 2025!

Amazed by how poor the @MasterClass@MasterClassCare service is when it comes to erroneous payments. Been trying to reach the team since last week and no word.
Annoying and disappointing for such a brand.
Earlier today, together with the @googleafrica team led by @MattBrittin, President, EMEA Business & Operations, we announced a N2.8 billion commitment from Google to support our ministry’s efforts at accelerating growth in Nigeria’s digital economy. This significant commitment, which is in alignment with our Strategic Blueprint, will be directed towards the following initiatives:
1. DeepTech Ready Upskilling Programme: A training programme which will operate within the framework of our 3MTT Nigeria initiative to empower 20,000 Nigerians with advanced technical skills in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
2. Experience AI Programme: Co-developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind to introduce young people aged 11-14 to the fundamentals of AI. Google will provide resources and training to 25,000 educators to reach and inspire 125,000 learners across Nigeria.
3. Apolitical Government AI Campus Programme: A virtual platform providing government officials and policymakers with access to resources and training on AI governance and application. Google will empower 100 leadership-level and 1,000 practitioner-level public servants to effectively utilise AI in their roles.
4. N100million AI Fund: A joint effort between @NCAIRNigeria and Google announced a few weeks back to award N10million each to promising Nigerian AI startups. The 10 beneficiaries, who have since been selected, will also gain access to Google's AI tools and resources, including up to $3.5million in Google Cloud Credits, mentorship from Google engineers, and technical support from NCAIR.
I appreciate the entire Google team for betting big on our technology ecosystem and their continued support. I look forward to building on our partnership, as we continue on our path of Digital Transformation in Nigeria. #NigerianExcellence @olurocks_
