@mario4thenorth This video features Canadian Tim Hortons restaurant owners and team members. They're proud to be strong, supportive employers in their communities — and that's a story we'll always be happy to tell. ☕
We were so excited to bring back our Cheese Melts and Bacon Melts last week based on enthusiastic feedback from Tims guests. We have sold over 400,000 Melts since we launched just a few days ago and the very large majority were prepared and served according to our standards. What makes a Melt great is the grilled bread and melted cheese - we accept the feedback that we haven’t gotten it 100% right, so are working with Tims restaurant owners who are doubling down on training to ensure guests are served a great Melt every time – whether in our drive-thru or at the restaurant counter. We encourage guests to contact our Guest Services team if they have feedback to share.

Hi Frank, we’re open to criticisms and we accept them – but we also want everyone to be honest about the facts. Team members at the Grimsby restaurant did not lose their jobs and were not replaced with temporary foreign workers. The local MP was not involved. If you have any evidence of team members being abused we would want to be made aware of it as we would not tolerate it. Tims restaurant owners are working hard every day alongside their teams to serve guests and it’s important that what’s shared about them online should be true.

Hi Scott, we think one of the biggest misperceptions about Tim Hortons is how the TFW program has been used. About 3.6% of team members were hired through the TFW program. These are positions in communities where restaurant owners faced documented labour shortages and went through the full government approval process before hiring. This new campaign will help Canadian restaurant owners hire 10,000 new local team members, supporting natural turnover and growth of Tim Hortons restaurants – including 80 new restaurants opening this year across Canada.
