It's a state-wide issue, not an L.A. problem.

You're right that Bass doesn't want to run against another Dem, but the party that runs the state doesn't care what she wants. They believe Vote Blue No Matter Who. It benefits the party if two Dems are the only choices. Whichever wins is irrelevant because that person will toe the line.

What is strange is that people who claim speaking truth to power is their job have zero interest in investigating to affirm or disprove this conspiracy theory. A lot of those same people believe that Butler, PA, was an inside job.
