NOTE: you must meet the IELTS requirements.

Step 2.
1 Upload your transcript, you can ask your school to send to your work email or your ward manager's email to have the copy.

2. Do verification from Nigeria nursing council.

3. You will need to also self-upload your TWO Photo ID: PASSPORT, National Identity card, drivers license and/or Marriage Certificate (if married lady)

4. This period may take around 2-5 months, do well to ring them to facilitate your evaluation.

While doing this after one month begin your fit2work ICHC application for criminal background check for where you have lived for the past 5yrs.

After approval it goes directly to New Zealand nursing board who will contact you to create account and register with them.

Then you pay the application fees of about NZ$480
Then your report will be assessed.

They check record for any criminal conviction in Nigeria. This may take less than 3days.

You are required to complete an online cultural competence modules for IQN as directed by new Zealand nursing council, use this link.

Download certificates for the two modules, and upload where instructed on your personal page on nmcnz website.

After getting that, your application would be assessed, and a decision would be made for your OSCE pathway. Most applicants registered/trained outside Canada, UK, USA, Australia would be assigned to do New Zealand nmc OSCE and CBT. The council would send them ontoward instruction and Decision Letter to book for their CBT. This stage makes job-ready and you require an employer to employ and train you before you get your full registration. Vendors or organisation to run the CBT test is still unknown because the process is new.
