@BruderSchwartz@Amtrak Also, it's the station it is approaching is a head station, so there's no need to go fast. Meanwhile in Ashland, since the tracks are passing through the city, you can't really have any high speed trains (wind + noise pollution) or cargo trains going through the city (noise).
@BruderSchwartz@Amtrak and I say that as someone who lives nearby and went to school in a town that has a train literally running right throught it! 😅 But the thing about that train is that it's noticeable and slow enough so that you can always dodge it in case you have to.
@crowleycf@ponygoyrl@the_transit_guy NL has the benefit of being a small country with a high population density. It's much easier to make public transport profitable when you have lots of people that can use it. If you have to establish public transport in region with lower densities you'll need LOTS of public funds
@simmons_loves @WarnTV Fair. But also you don't need a billion dollars just to fund the development of the game. A billion dollars is a heck of a lot of money which could fund the entire development of 3-4 AAA games like GTA V. Im happy if OW makes more money but it could've been more consumer friendly
@llysistrataa @WarnTV It'll have to be seen what they'll actually deliver but so far it doesn't look very promising to me. Either their communication is still really bad or they simply don't have a lot of content ready
@llysistrataa @WarnTV And yet all of that barely makes up for all of the content they stopped dishing out for the past 4-5 years now. And their road maps and announcements at the moment don't even include when we'll see all of the stuff they've talked about, doesn't feel like a good "launch" at all
