Listen up. This is the calling card of Satan. He will ALWAYS try to get you to commit suicide. If you have those thoughts, know that this is the devil talking to you, and nothing more. Don't let him win. God has a plan for you. Seek his counsel always. His counsel leads to life. Satan's counsel leads to death.
Satan even tried to get Jesus to commit suicide, as laughable as that sounds. He tried to get him to jump off a temple!
(Matthew 4:5-6) "Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, {6} And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."
The reason Satan is so successful at doing this is because he subtly gets you to make negative changes in your life that put you in a position of less hope. He'll tell you things like "It's ok, take on that debt" or "It's just one beer" or "your spouse doesn't love you. It's ok to divorce."
He'll get you to do these things without you even realizing it's harming you. However, one day you'll look up and ask yourself, "How did I get here?"
The antidote to the devil is God and his word. Jesus, who is God, just used his word to repel the attacks of the devil. This is what he said when the devil tried to get him to commit suicide. He just went to his word.
(Matthew 4:7) "Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God."
Unfortunately for Mr. Lemieux, he succumb to the devil's tricks. I do NOT want that to happen to anyone else. If you have these thoughts please open God's word, the King James Bible, and read, and read, and read some more. Talk to someone that knows God's word. My DM's are open. You can talk to me and I'll help as much as I am able.
John 4:23 KJV
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God seeks people that worship him in spirt and in truth. That means if you are disregarding truth you aren’t worshiping God.
I see so many times people that claim to be Christians justify things that God is clearly against. If you justify things like living romantically with someone you aren’t married to, getting buzzed/drunk, doing drugs for recreation, using obscenities, etc. then you aren’t worshiping God in truth. You are giving into your own lusts. It’s that simple.
Instead, open up God’s word and read what he has to say. Agree with what he has to say even if you don’t understand it. He’s always right. You’re only right when you agree with him. If you disagree with him, then you are wrong.
Become one of Jesus' found sheep by putting your trust in him for salvation today. Once you do, you are going to heaven no matter what happens for the rest of your life. Imagine the peace you will have knowing that.

@ChampRDS@MightyMouse There was zero intensity about this, didn't start on the feet as well. I'm very, very confident that DJ would hang very well against Khamzat in an actual competitive scenario.
@UpAndAdamsShow@heykayadams Disagree. The Giants are rebuilding their entire team culture. And they know OBJ's general attitude. So too does Harbaugh. The Giants have little money to spend. Maybe he can still play. But he's not a fit with the Giants.
(1 Samuel 2:6) "The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up."
The Lord is able to raise you up after you die. All you have to do is come to Jesus and believe that he died to pay for your sins, was buried, and rose again. If you believe that you will be raised up after death and spend eternity with the Lord.
Are you going to start believing God's promises or are you going to continue to reject them and walk around a condemned person? It's your choice, but make it soon because time is running out.

@ProjectConstitu Got checked, pretended to have integrity, and then whined "why did it take so long", as if everything needs to go according to your timeline.
Tremendous.
@BelieveOnJesus Most Catholics are raised on these traditions and concepts, and sadly do not know any different. I really feel for them. It's a heavy, layered topic.
@SecretFire79@Galatians110Guy Your reply says it all. You could have replied with Scriptural references to back up your position but failed to do so. It isn't because you chose otherwise, it is because there are none of which to speak.
Then again, you might not even know that. I pray that you one day will.
(Mark 5:36) "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe."
You don't have to be afraid of your after life. Just believe on Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. It's that simple.
Your sins condemn you to hell for eternity. You have no way to atone for them to God. However, Christ died for your sins. You don't have to pay for them if you would just believe on him.

If Jacobson wins in the opening round tomorrow versus Gardziola, he will then wrestle one of three guys whose first name is Islam: Aliev, Yevloyev, or Abbasov.
Eight years ago today, I received the call that my father @BillyGraham had gone home to Heaven. He wasn’t afraid to die. In fact, near the end of his life, he said, “I know I’m going to Heaven. I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation because of what Jesus did on that Cross.” What about you? Do you have the same confidence?
The most important decision any of us make in life is to accept or reject Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. That decision changes everything—and it determines where we will spend eternity! Jesus said, “…I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die…” (John 11:25-26). What a promise! If we repent of our sins and put our faith in Jesus Christ, we will be safe in the presence of God forever. If you’ve never made that choice and surrendered your life to Him, I urge you to do that today.

(Matthew 28:20) "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Jesus isn't leaving you. He is there for us no matter what. He loves you so much that he died to pay for your sins when you didn't even deserve it. Even after making that sacrifice for you, he is STILL with you no matter what. That is true love.

If the living knew what the dead know, they will run to Jesus. As seen in the story of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16:19-31.
Ask Jesus into your heart today. Tomorrow maybe too late. @laralogan
