Didcot Town under 18s booked their place in the semi-final of the cup on a dramatic night at the Loop Meadow Stadium.
Goalkeeper Fin Coles was the Didcot hero against Penn and Tylers Green, as the team from procision Oxford booked their place in the last four in a tense penalty shoot out.
Coles saved Penn and Tylers fifth penalty to send his side through, this after Didcot scored a dramatic 93rd minute equaliser.
Penn and Tylers must have thought they were going through after going ahead early in the second half.
In the 93rd minute, Didcot equalised thanks to a low drive from Zach Scott from the edge of the area.
His equaliser sent the game straight to penalties.
Cameron Mills, Zach Scott and Freddie Rix were on target for Didcot, after three perfect penalties from both teams.
Penn and Tylers then saw their seventh penalty hit the crossbar and Harry Pitman kept his cool to fire Didcot ahead.
With Penn and Tylers needing to score their final penalty to keep the shootout going, Coles made a fantastic low save to his left, to the delight of all his teammates.
It was a great win for the lads who can now look forward to a semi-final.
A huge thank you to @donnacoles30 for the highlights.
Alastair, truly the saddest day we’ve been involved in and completely heartbroken by this. Everybody at Procision Oxford and especially those involved with the game last week are sending all our love to you and your family, Adam’s teammates and everyone connected with Adam.
