🚨 KISHIMOTO IS USING THE NARUTO LIVE-ACTION TO FIX HIS BIGGEST REGRET WITH SAKURA.

Kishimoto has admitted in the past that Sakura was one of the characters he struggled to write properly.

He’s spoken about wanting to go deeper into her character and family, and has acknowledged that she didn’t always get the same level of development or major moments as Naruto and Sasuke.

Which makes the reported live-action changes REALLY interesting…

• Sakura is stronger from the beginning
• Her family actually matters to the story
• Her father reportedly died during Kurama’s attack
• Her mother is given an actual personality and role

So I’m starting to think these Sakura changes may not just be “Hollywood changing Naruto.”

They could genuinely be changes Kishimoto APPROVED because he finally gets another chance to develop Sakura the way he wished he had the first time. 👀

Sakura having a tragic backstory imo wouldn't really add to her character. I felt she was mishandled in the original series but in a lot of ways she embodies the village's apathy since she's not an outsider like Naruto or Sasuke, whose loss of family dictate their whole lives.
