@scott_m_powell@AST_SpaceMobile@scottwisniews@AbelAvellan I don't like it. He's confirmed there's no magic extra launches this year and there WILL therefore be a material affect on the current guidance. Just rip the bandaid off man and let us all get on with it! Still excited to get the technology up in usable numbers this year!
@tuff_4r Thanks, I saw that. If anything is going to cause a pullback this will. I feel we’ll see the 90s for sure which ties in with that. This stock is designed to surprise though! Appreciate you regularly sharing your work 👍👍
@shortmsger I’ve owned ASTS for over 4 years. Only really been engaging on X for a while though. Actually sold 70% for the first time on Friday and think I’ll let the dust settle before getting back in. I don’t think you’re right on lots of your comments though.
@LuckyStuey Well that is something highly interesting & relevant to be proud of, I can hardly use X let alone something like that. It’s a shame there’s not a space where the +ve (and -ve) developments of ASTS &competitors can be discussed without the tribal emotions that X seems to promote.
@LuckyStuey 2/2 I guess these will all come online though by 2030 (my investment timeline) and ASTS looks to have the strongest commerical set up and partnerships . We don’t know at all yet what the others will look like.
@LuckyStuey 1/2Yeah but given all these things slip and ASTS at least has a working Sat already up (I would like some clarity from ASTS on that) and some sort of launch program running on existing launch providers, I think it’s safe to say they have a lead. Less unknowns if you like…
@LuckyStuey I think the engineering probably takes 10yrs to overcome and ASTS has been working on it a long time. Competitors will have their owns issues to overcome and will have their own launch problems & are therefore behind. BUT hopefully enough pie for all.I know shit though.Good chat
@LuckyStuey 2/2 so I understand your argument against the near term information we all read on X. But given the current price of the stock and POTENTIAL huge profits in 5yrs time, the return looks impressive. As an educated gambler here, what do you think on that time horizon?
@LuckyStuey 1/2 Again, really interesting, thanks. My Gemini ‘investigations’ led me to believe ASTS needs 300+ sats to give a really good continuous worldwide service, so this all makes sense. I calculated, that wouldn’t be till 2030 but at that point the financials are huge,
@LuckyStuey So this is good technical stuff, appreciate the time on it! I already agree on the public service side of things. This gives me confidence with military. Firstnet beta could unlock funds I guess but don’t know. With the pointable phased arrays things. Is each sat limited to 45mins?
