This was me impatiently waiting for this book's release. I followed the countdown until its release that weekend.

As I reflected on this, I remembered a biblical event:

...and Jesus seeing from afar a fig tree having LEAVES (cover, package, presence), He went to see if perhaps He would find something (value, content, essence) on it.

Trust your intelligence to make it happen. That's how to be an influential #speaker, my friend.

A leader about to present should reference the previous speaker, this shows that you listened and valued their #contribution, not just obsessed with your own turn.

Quote them by name to show you're building on their ideas. Don't claim there's nothing to #quote - find something! You don't need to be familiar with the previous speaker to do this effectively.

There's something your growth will accomplish for them that transcends what your words alone can convey. "And for their sakes, I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified..."

Let them be able to find reference for themselves from your life and results.

Leaders, listen! Pay attention to your growth, not just for yourself, but for the sake of those you lead. When you stop evolving, you psychologically stifle their growth too.

Lord, in the name of Jesus, bring everyone reading into the awareness of your purpose for us on #earth. Cause us not only to be aware but also convinced of that which you have destined us to do. Thank you, Lord!

Get born
Go to primary and secondary schools
Go to a higher institution or acquire a skill
Graduate/Conclude apprenticeship
Take some foolish decisions here and there
Start a business/Get a job
Marry
Give birth to children
Build a house
Children start school
