π· Tuesday Talk Appreciation! π·
A huge thank you to Defense Attorney Paul Scally for being today's Tuesday Talk speaker! It was incredible to have a seasoned lawyer walk through a mock police incident report with my Law & Public Safety students.
#reallifelearning
Huge thank you to @RomeoSupt Dr. Todd Robinson for being such a great sport today as our Law Practices students practiced applying handcuffs to a compliant suspect! .. giving students a learning experience they wonβt forget.
We truly appreciate it. @romeoschools
What do Career and Tech Education teachers do on their cold days off? They make site visits to prepare for their students WBL placements for the 2nd semester. Thank you to Judge Rancilio and her incredible staff for being such welcoming hosts this morning! @romeoschools
I had a blast from the past visitor today - George Washington swung by Washington Township (courtesy of Tim Bussineau) to spread some spooky cheer and wish everyone a Happy and Safe Halloween! π
TODAY celebrated the kickoff of the 5th year of our TUESDAY TALKS. It made sense to have the first ever and 5 time Tuesday talk speaker kick things off this year. Thank you @MacombSheriff Wickersham for speaking and joining us in the pledge of allegiance @romeoschools
Operations have been suspended for the Plant City Police Department and Plant City Fire Rescue due to the severity of Hurricane Milton.
If you experience an emergency, call it in and first responders will respond as soon as it is safe to do so.
While our Emergency Services Unit team prepares for Hurricane Milton recovery efforts, our Emergency Communications Specialists remain committed to keeping you connected to OPD.
At 5:39 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, our last patrol vehicle returned to Headquarters. Sustained wind speeds are too strong for emergency services to respond. We will now wait out the storm, just like you, and once it passes, we will begin our rescue and recovery process.
What an incredible opportunity I had this morning to meet with U.S. Congressman John James and State Representative Joseph Aragona to promote Romeo HS approach to education, additional opportunities for my Law/Public Safety students and funding sources @RomeoHHP@romeoschools
So excited for the upcoming 2024-25 Mock Trial season. Very proud of our Senior leaders for leading a recruitment meeting today after school. @romeoschools
Thanks to Supervisor Mike Fillbrook and many other staff members as we colloborated today on how our 2 Law/Public Safety Seniors can best learn during their Work Based learning this year at Bruce Twp @RomeoHHP@DossinEvva
