As a Mining Graduate it really helps to be an active Graduate. AMMSA, Wumea, Mining Forum etc, you will see the difference in your progress in the industry.
Dear Graduate Engineer,
Not everyone is fortunate to secure a job.
Be grateful if you have.
If you managed to get a job, the least you could do is:
- create a logbook of the measurable outcomes you want to achieve
- ask or look for work that will help fill the logbook
- where possible, do some of the activities without waiting for permission
It’s your career, and you must take charge.
No one is coming to save you or spoon-feed you.
Agree?
Artisanal Miners somewhere in Africa, vibing to Amapiano in a panel underground. They could never be this comfortable underground in ultra deep gold mines in South Africa.Ch4, seismicity and many other things could quickly turn this gang into statistics.
Men working at the Mine neh🤣. So last week I was collecting my PPE and I bumped into this man (maybe late 40s/mid 50s). He said I am beautiful and asked what I do at the mine. I said I am a Snake Catcher and he was "hau hau hau ke nna legotlo etla o ntšhware" 😭😭. Your dads😭😭
