Throughout April, as we mark #MilitaryChildMonth, we honor the bravery and resilience of those children whose lives were forever changed by the conflicts that followed 9/11. Through their parents’ service in the Global War on Terror, they carry the weight of tremendous loss and sacrifice.
The University of Georgia Athletic Association is proud to partner with The Shawn Clark Legacy Foundation, founded by Jonelle Clark to honor Coach Shawn Clark’s life and lasting impact.
Through The 61 Initiative, the foundation supports the mental and physical well-being of coaches while continuing his legacy in the profession and community.

We all carry grief. Many of us suppress it. Many of us shun it because society suggests we be tough and move on. Our interview today with @FredMinnick was a profound reminder that one person's courage can impact many, as Fred has.
If you feel led, this 15 minutes will move you.
At Christmastime, holiday memories often feel especially close. Photographs from years gone by remind us of the traditions, gatherings, and moments shared with loved ones.
As we reflect on Christmases past, we remember the lives lost on 9/11 and the families and friends who continue to carry these memories forward.
