Requiem Americano premiered last night to a wonderfully receptive full house! It has been a long journey with this piece, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to have shared it with so many people.

Rehearsals are underway for the premiere of the requiem. Between rehearsals I refine the goals for the next one, and use probably too many sticky notes in the process (not pictured are the discarded ones.)
Concert is this Saturday, see you there! https://t.co/g7pqkbjRPP

Really good rehearsal last night with the Georgia Symphony Chorus. A lot of hard work on the requiem and it's paying off. Hear the premiere on May 17th! https://t.co/g7pqkbjRPP
Copland's Appalachian Spring and the premiere of my Requiem Americano. Two perspectives on American life. May 17th. Looking forward to seeing you there! https://t.co/g7pqkbjRPP
There is a first time for everything, including conducting a performance with a broken tooth, as was the case this evening. Appointment already set for first thing in the am.
