@thejackhopkins It’s important we don’t assume that only Republican leaders are reacting to the fear of violence. In surveillance societies like East Germany, it was widely understood everybody was impacted by the fear of surveillance on a subconscious level. It’s the same dynamic in this case.
🇺🇸 California Dreamin' of Ditchin' the Union: 44% Ready to Say 'Adios,
USA!
A YouGov poll (June 11–23, 2025) found 44% of Californians support secession, a record high, with 50% trusting state authorities over the federal government.
The Independent California Institute (ICI) highlights growing interest in self-governance, though 54% oppose secession.
Discussions include California controlling its borders and economy, but challenges like trade barriers, currency creation, and loss of federal protections loom.
An update on support for California secession -- a record 44% of Californian adults would vote for the state to leave the United States and become a fully independent nation:

Just a reminder to the people still here:
Kamala had a plan to lower food costs, cut student debt, 25k help with buying a first home, 6K for a new baby, 3K a year to help with children, a plan to make housing more available by blocking private equity from buying homes, and
Trump's endless whining about rigged elections was a setup for him cheating in this one. I believe he sold the country out to escape prosecution. Now he dares Democrats to claim fraud in an election with questionable results. I say, do it. We at least deserve to be heard.
With 87% of Arizona votes counted...
Kari Lake: 1,425,546
Ruben Gallego: 1,470,600
Kamala: 1,389,309
Can somebody explain how Kari Lake has more votes than Kamala, but didn't beat her opponent??
An under vote, is a ballot that has a vote for POTUS but the rest of the ballot is blank.
Trump’s margin in EVERY swing state appears to be based entirely on under votes.
That’s not just weird, it’s utterly implausible.
Trump’s margin in NC is based ENTIRELY on under-votes.
Dems won the whole ballot except the top spot.
This makes absolutely NO SENSE!
It’s counter to the behavior of both Dems and Republicans.
The fact that EVERY swing state went Trump exclusively on under votes
I don't fault anyone for suspecting the guy, who was criminally indicted for trying to steal the 2020 election, might have stolen the 2024 election.
You'd be naive not to suspect foul play.
He is the architect of distrust in our institutions, the sower of doubt in our election processes, the catalyst of our national discord.
Rather than spend endless hours pontificating on why he won, the media should spend their time verifying the results.
Maybe then they'll get people to actually tune in.
APPALLING — 67 fake bomb threats.
Most of them targeting heavily Democratic cities — all of which had lower turnout than in 2020.
Many of the threats were traced to Russia.
And somehow this is NOT a headline news story — and there is ZERO federal investigation.
What people aren’t getting is that we did not lose an election, we lost the protections of the Constitution and rule of law.
Blue people in red states will be so damned vulnerable.
So I say this with every micron of my being, the people who told us last time that Trump wasn’t
I do not believe in the mirage of voters who voted the whole down ballot Dem but also voted Trump.
Apparently, millions of Americans did that, but I haven’t seen or heard of a single one.
So if that’s you, please explain.
@maddenifico I’m DUMBFOUNDED that the Country is just LETTING this happen without any kind of Investigation. Please tell me they are looking into things & have been for the last year.😰🤦🏻♀️
Elon Musk is already deemed a NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT!!
I do NOT understand why NOTHING is being done.
People are hurting and scared. Where the hell are our so-called leaders? Losing the election was devastating, but this lack of leadership is infuriating.
The thing that gets me is just how many things had to go just right to get Trump back in office.
It would be too fantastical for a Netflix series.
Congress failed to impeach him. Then failed to apply the 14th Amendment to him. Garland dicked around for 18 months,
This is based on the counting so far...
In Michigan, Trump won by 79,302. There were 85,069 more total votes for president than Senator. The Dem Senator won.
In Wisconsin, Trump won by 28,480. There were 39,962 more votes for president than Senator. The Dem Senator won.
The 2024 Election was hacked at the tabulation level.
I have a 25 year career, finding and/or conducting such hacks. It's easy-ish to do. GOP/Trump-Putin/Musk all have the resources, motivation and access to do it. Hand recount the 2 oddest precincts in each county. Solved.
ATLANTA (AP)
The letter sent by nearly two dozen computer scientists, election security experts and voter advocacy organizations asks for a federal probe and a risk assessment of voting machines used throughout the country, saying the software breaches have "urgent implications for the 2024 election and beyond." The breaches affected voting equipment made by two companies that together count over 70 percent of the votes cast across the country, according to the letter. #PBS
