@AhayzoXB@eonephoto@Shpeshal_Nick And you are free to continue crying like a little bitch or find another job. Either way, they set the terms of employment. It is your choice to accept them or move on. Your opinion and feelings are irrelevant.
@AhayzoXB@eonephoto@Shpeshal_Nick The problem is the mentality. It is necessary because your employer wants it. They get to set the parameters of your job. You, in turn, have the ability to decline those parameters and seek employment elsewhere. Employees don’t get to dictate terms.
@Seer0fW0lves@oliver_drk I’ve literally never had that issue with my Series X and I’ve done plenty of marathon sessions. There are pros and cons to both sides.
@Koahlah@ShadowWizyxvf@ModernPirate90@nuhre_ I don’t disagree with the technological superiority of a PC. However, if Helix can deliver the same or similar experience, I’m going there all day.
@ContrarianKel@nuhre_ My IQ is plenty high enough. For some of us, it is a time issue. I don’t have an excess amount of time to troubleshoot things. I want to sit down and never worry about driver updates and settings.
@Owlsayssouth@Qwik I hear what you are saying, but that’s not the experience my PC friends share with me. They are always adjusting settings, ini and troubleshooting stuff. Maybe they are too in to it or something. I’m not sure.
@VoiceIslanderFn@aakashgupta I mean, that’s the high end of the range. I don’t believe they will go towards the higher end. If it is $1200-$1400, people will buy it. They are already paying $900 for a PS pro. That will seem like an Atari compared to the new consoles.
@VoiceIslanderFn@aakashgupta Yes, right now. Project out 2 years. It will not be that price. It will scale with consoles that are currently $800. Data centers are screwing everything.
@2stepwithsteve@qoe999@Nutzypoo_ttv Yeah, it’s a steep hill to climb. However, PC gaming is just fine at the moment and costs the same, if not more. If Helix delivers on rumors, it would be in that power band and still cheaper than a comparable PC. I know I’ll have it day one.
@bullshitfightr@Meech_066@Nutzypoo_ttv You mean the same parents that buy their kid a new $1500 phone every couple of years. AI has made everything 10 times more expensive. This is the new norm, sadly. I’m betting it will do just fine. I know I’ll have it day one.
@Owlsayssouth@Qwik It’s not that we want our hand held. Some of us are older, not as tech savvy and on a limited schedule so we don’t have time to mess with settings and all the problems that come with PC. We have a short window to sit and play. So we want to turn on our controller and go….
@ChainsawRambo@Qwik Your assumption is that prices will “normalize.” The demand for AI is only going up. So components prices will continue to go up out of scarcity. The genie isn’t going back in the bottle here. This is normal. If the market can’t handle it, consoles will just die.
@dadarkknight80@G_a_l_v_a@kiwitalkz I mean, I wouldn’t say no one. I’ll be buying it. It is maps and bounds beyond series x and I know my limits. I’m 48 and not savvy enough for a PC. I need plug and play, my recliner and big tv (old man eyes).
