@Noahp245 This is pretty silly imo. You have the benefit of hindsight here. Sosa led the team in HRs last year and had a respectable OAA/xwOBA while Mead showed nothing last year, there's no universe they would've done this

@AnnoyedSoxFan There's no guarantee things go the same way, but I highly doubt they would walk Antonacci. And if they don't, his infield single would've scored the run for sure. Mune is still the scarier hitter and if you get Antonacci out then you get to walk Mune. Get your point though

I'm happy for Rikuu getting a chance and throwing guys out, but you can't be a slap-hitting speedster and whiff on three straight bunt attempts. It's completely unacceptable and it cost the Sox the game, hope he doesn't actually struggle at bunting going forward
