🇾🇪 The fact that Manchester United and… erm.. Spurs are bidding for you and you’ll only commit to the highest bidder, speaks volumes about what Matheus Fernandes wants the most from his footballing career 💰💰
Last summer, Newcastle bid more for Sesko and offered him a higher wage. He insisted on joining United and the deal happened. Mbeumo and Cunha had better offers from elsewhere. Yoro could’ve waited a year, joined Real Madrid on a free transfer and got himself a huge signing on bonus.
At this stage of United’s history, we’re only interested in players with a certain kind of character, fighting to make a name for themselves at a club like Manchester United. Matheus Fernades clearly wasn’t one of them.
Be grateful we didn’t agree to pay £85m for him.
We’ve spent 15 years overpaying for players and everyone’s gone mad about it, now we aren’t willing to do that the same fans are now going mad we aren’t willing to overspend
RB Leipzig want more than €150m for Yan Diomande? This is so funny.
Sometimes I can't help but wonder what early-20s Messi and Ronaldo would cost in today's market.
🚨 Iran captain Mehdi Taremi just exposed @FIFAcom and the US:
“This is a disaster World Cup. Infantino promised to fix everything in our locker room… he did nothing. We can’t stay in Seattle — forced back to Tijuana every time. They want us out.”
Visa denials for staff. Day-before travel from Mexico. No recovery. Constant harassment because Iran refuses to bow.
This isn’t sport. It’s political sabotage by the empire using the World Cup as a weapon.
FIFA claims neutrality while Infantino plays lapdog. Iranian players still fighting with dignity.
Expose it. Stand with the players.
"Spurs are willing to pay a bigger transfer fee and believe United might turn their back on a deal if the price gets too high."
If that's the case then fair enough, have him. No issue whatsoever with United standing their ground when it comes to their own valuations. 🤷♂️

Genuine question: am I going insane? That Konsa tackle on Adu* is the most red card penalty red card foul that has ever taken place and it's like nobody is talking about it. Did I miss something
If you watch premier league it’s dominated by time wasting, players fighting with each other during corner kicks, throw in becoming a major event? goalkeepers not being allowed to move during corners, etc.
Watch the World Cup and magically you don’t see those things as much.
PL referees need to take note and fix the league.
Marcelo Bielsa refused to do any acting during the official World Cup photoshoot.
The Uruguayan 🇺🇾 coach has repeatedly denounced the tournament in the United States, criticizing its commercial and political excesses.
This is utter bullshit. When Indonesia refused to grant the Israeli under 17 team visa’s for the 2023 U-20 World Cup, FIFA stripped Indonesia’s hosting rights and moved it to Argentina. So @FIFAcom can stop with the lies.
🇾🇪 We chased De Jong for an entire summer. He didn't come.
We spent months on Fabregas. He didn't come.
We entered bidding wars for players who'd rather be elsewhere. Those players (e.g. Di Maria, Sanchez) when they eventually arrived, showed exactly that.
Then the club changed the filter. Mbeumo only wanted United. Cunha only wanted United. Sesko only wanted United. Three signings, zero sagas. All three had a fantastic season.
City can bid whatever they want for Elliot Anderson. If he only wants United, this ends the same way as the other three.
If he doesn't? Just remember, the players who couldn't wait to sign for us have outperformed every player we’ve ever had to chase, every single time.
So sit back and relax. This one's already decided 😉

Even when adjusting for inflation, Pep Guardiola still outspends Sir Alex Ferguson by £40m per season on players.
During his historic tenure from 1992 to 2013, Sir Alex actually ranked as only the 4th highest spender in the Premier League, trailing behind Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool. Despite this, he comfortably outperformed his rivals. This financial efficiency was even more pronounced in the EPL in the 1990s "his most dominant era" where he captured 14 trophies while Manchester United ranked a mere 10th in league spending.
By contrast, Pep's Manchester City ranks as the 2nd highest spender in the league during his tenure, situated just behind Chelsea, do we think Pep Guardiola could have won his 20 trophies if he had only spent the same as Wolves or Everton in the last decade?
As @SullyTalkz, @UtdNadd, @CCTransfers16 & @shaunconnolly85 have reported over the past two weeks, Manchester United have been in talks with Mateus Fernandes & working on this deal for months.
The consensus is he's very keen on joining & the club believe he is giving them priority over other clubs following talks with his reps, with Fernandes seeing the opportunity to join United as his dream move.
It's also clear this is the club's #1 priority & the thing they are working on right now. They've put in ground work, Bruno Fernandes (his idol) & Diogo Dalot have been speaking to him also. That matters.
A player this good is always going to have interest across Europe & fierce competition for him. Fee has been mentioned as key & West Ham have set their asking price publicly.
Now only time will tell if a middle ground will be found & all the work on this deal will pay off, but personally I'm not going to overreact to every new report 🤷♂️
When is everyone going to realise that social media isn’t a tool for freedom of speech.
It’s a tool being used by the rich and powerful to radicalise the world en masse.
Divide and conquer is being implemented at scale like we’ve never seen.
We’re all falling for it. Wake up!
I don't understand the complaints about Manchester United not bidding for Elliot Anderson. Have people learned nothing from last summer, or the Frenkie de Jong saga? There is no point bidding for a player that has decided they do not want to join the club.
City bid for Anderson because he has clearly indicated that he wants to go there. The reasons? Irrelevant. That is where he wants to go. In the transfer market you bid with encouragement to do so from the players' camp. Why would a meaningless bid be better?
Sadly Anderson hasn't been in briefs for a little while now, it is becoming clear why that was. The club wanted him, did what they could & he picked someone else. That isn't a slight on their ambition. It's the reality that they can't compete with City's wages.
It was the same with Antoine Semenyo. Money talks. Manchester United have not recovered financially from years of transfer & contract mistakes, they still have some on their books. It'll take more time & good season on good season to fix that.
It is often the people complaining the loudest who either don't know how the game is played, or are being actively ignorant about it & don't want to learn.
Whilst there’s a clamour to splurge £100 million plus on our midfield messiah PSG paid the following fees for their midfield
Vitina: £34.2 million Porto
Neves: £52 million Benfica
Ruiz: £18.5 million Napoli
Any halfwit can spend big the trick is to spend smart
Same Man Utd fans that were angry that we signed Mbeumo and Cunha over Xavi Simons and Wirtz
They also wanted us to sell Bruno and sign Baleba and Palmer, these are the same guys angry we signed Ederson btw
Can never take them seriously
It only takes one or two accounts on here to speak negatively on a player and all of a sudden it's an awful signing.
Haven't even put pen to paper on Ederson yet and half the fan base hate him. Such a weird group of people.
INEOS did very well last season, and have wrapped up the first signing of the summer before the window is even open. I trust them. Looking forward to seeing Ederson in a Utd shirt.
