A hard cap on the number of credits issued each year could unduly restrict a number of worthy affordable housing projects around the state, the bill’s critics argued, and do little to address the state's housing crisis.

@JalenElrod Just thought I’d share the voucher solution Ken mentioned and that our coalition has discussed as a response to your concern. It’s one way to reach deeper in affordability when the gap is so big, and growing daily. Happy to discuss in more depth friend.
@JalenElrod not a fan of twitter but I enjoyed the thread after someone shared it w/ me so thought I’d comment. We need more solutions like Ken’s. No, it requires the largest gap financing, & income averaging is only now being used in SC sparingly due to treasury guidelines.
@kenHkolb @JalenElrod A lot of these we’re advocating for at GHF as our coalition has listed these & more 2 try & reverse this trend. Inclusionary zoning currently is not allowed per ruling from state attorney general, though there is a bill currently at the statehouse for voluntary participation.
Waiting in line for hours to vote should be considered less a story on voter enthusiasm and more a story on voter suppression. No one should have to wait hours to vote.
A truly maddening response, stop being a politician for two seconds and own up to your words. Your leadership and lack thereof matters. https://t.co/GRJwyeLOSn

As your Senator, we have already begun exposing the culture of corruption that permeates state government. However, the corruption at the Statehouse is deeply rooted and we need more people supporting this fight. Will you help me spread my message?
