Year 4 had an exciting visit from a chartered engineer @Shahinhassanz , and year 5 a general practitioner @JoMacIver ! 🛠👩‍⚕️

This #AmbitionWeek, year 3 had an incredible guest speaker - an emergency doctor! ✨🚑

They were inspired by stories of perseverance and teamwork in education and work. They even got to use stethoscopes and learn how doctors check heartbeats!

Outdoor and indoor art on our last day!

We used natural resources around us to create artwork. Others did some role play, making amazing links to our current science topic all about forces!🤩🌍

We also created our own insects and decorated stones! 🦋🐞

🌳 On day 2, we did some firelighting and shelter building. Warmth and finding resources is important to survive in a forest!

⛺️🔥 We used our senses to identify some different trees and then ended the night with a cosy campfire~ ☺️

Started off day 2 on a long nature walk! We used our senses and binoculars to explore our surroundings as we went up and down.
We stumbled across lots of interesting plants such as apple mint! 🌲🌼🌿🌱 (a beautiful horse too 🐎)

🔎We set off for our mini-beast hunt and year 5 have found some interesting insects around the valley! Worms, snails, slugs, spiders, woodlice and beetles! They’ve snailed it! 🐌

Year 5 had a wonderful day at Dudley Zoo, even with a little rain! 🌧 We saw lots of different animals (some of our favourite tropical animals too!) We learnt about their life cycles, habitats and what they eat. 🌿🦦#LifeCycles #TeamTindal @arktindal

To reflect on #AmbitionWeek, year 5 have used their writing skills to create their own poems about what ambition means to them ✍🏻 They also wrote application letters for their dream jobs, highlighting their qualities and skills. So ambitious!

Our amazing pupils attended the @CitizensUK Accountability Assembly at the University of Birmingham yesterday evening. They got to hear questions put to some of the West Midlands Mayoral candidates and shared their voice and excitement as citizens! @arktindal @Bham_Citizens
