I once persued this with an idea to convert this into a very vibrant shopping Mall, with top restaurants like La Parada, Tigers Milk etc and travelling agencies.

We did our market surveys, traffic counts, tenant procurement exercise, high level designs, 3Ds and cost estimates together with investment appraisals.

Shopping Mall here is bankable to be honest.

Seconded by a hotel since there is no hotel close to the Airport.

We failed to peach our idea to Zimpost management but one day the door will open.

AUDIO | A man was left fuming after a bad experience with ZRP officers near Southerton Police Station.

He said the officers fined him US$30 for driving on the wrong side of the road after he briefly moved into the opposite lane to avoid potholes. According to him, there were no oncoming vehicles at the time. Frustrated by the incident, he described the officers as “thugs, criminals, and thieves” pretending to be police officers.
